Benavidez and the sport of boxing. A champion refusing to fight the top contender for years and instead giving the opportunity to fighters who have not earned it, spits in the face of the belts and the sport. Obviously a rabid fan boy like you does not understand or care about that. Thanks for exposing yourself yet again.

If you were a real boxing fan, you would be demanding Canelo fight Benavidez even if you hated David.

I hope we get the fight as time is running out I think Canelo only has a couple of fights left before he retires.

Same age but benavidez has been an established boxer for a long time. Morrell is pretty new to the pro ranks in comparison.

Benavidez. All and any trumpeting him - he is a very good pugilist, but nowhwere near great. He has zero legacy fights. Only legacy fights available are Canelo and Bivol. Canelo an aging fighter as is Bivol. Both are on the cusp of their declines. Bivol seemingly happy to administer a beatdown if the cash is in hand. Same with Canelo. As for Beterbiev, he is almost 40, but still would KO DB - unknown if he even gives a rat's ass about Benavidez. Fact is, Benavidez is annoying, his 'tactics' for acquiring a fight with Canelo border on juvenile. Canelo in the twilight of his career is looking to cash in. All three fighters in their prime would demolish DB. Benavidez has the charisma of a warthog.

All of that has nothing to do with the core of the situation, which is its the fight fans want to see, that's the bottom line.

The question was whether it would be a travesty if Canelo never fought him. What you said there has nothing to do with that question at all , you are rambling lol.
