Notice how he's moving strictly to the left on his pad training? That puts him on the move to Manny's right. He's anticipating Manny's left hooks, and trying to figure out countering. His trainer's coming in from the left angle, and making him duck and hit. He may look slow, but he looks pretty strong. If he can time a good jab, he might get some good licks in.

From what I've heard, the situation is critical, and he MS13 has taken over small towns in El Salvador, where even the police won't enter. They use extortion, terror tactics and murder to control the areas. It's bad on the kids, because they get recruited by force into the gangs, and if the parents try to stop it, they get brutally murdered. Sad but true.

Two things...One, yeah, Manny's right is a killer, but, it's usually a straight right, and a good jab can make that hard to throw.

Two, yeah it is a shame, but schools over there, especially the ones that are in gang controlled areas, usually range from kindergarten to about 4th or 5th grade, and that's where the gang leaders usually do their recruiting from. Its sad as ****, and the government wont do anything about it. They should activate the country's national guard and put them in unison with local police, to curb all the violence, and give kids a better chance to study and get a decent education.

Yeah Cotto very strong and solid but he looks to slow in the vid. What is power after all if you can't hit your opponent with it.

These exercises are all about accuracy. You rarely see dudes swinging away more than trying to throw the punches correctly. We have yet to see Cotto sparring or going all out, but we haven't seen that from Pacquiao either, just Roach saying how great Pac looks.

Don't base a guy's performance in a fight off 1 min of pad exercises lol.

He never punches full power. Not even 50% power. All the training videos look the same but he does look to be in great shape
