Benny's overrated, his saving grace is his unorthodox style, that's it.

Still favor Canelo to beat this guy at 168 and Benny has no chance vs the elite Eastern fighters at 175.

Only thing on Bena's mind is that cash out fight against Nelo.

he admitted he was 189 on fight night, 31 pounds above 168. yeah its probably not as high when hes fighting 168 but it gives you an idea its probably a 25 pound weight cut.

bivol will demolish him, hes in a world of hurt the second half of the fight, he might even get stopped by accumulation if he is that gassed and eating a lot of shots because bivol dont gas.

By boxingscene logic, Canelo is a blown up super welterweight and he's fought better competition at 168 than David has. People are saying Devin Haney got beat by Ryan so bad because he didn't have a huge size advantage like he always does. So Benavidez wanting to move back down because he is ineffective against people who are actually his size says alot about how much of a weight bully he is.
Yup, my exact take on Benavidez.

He looks super thin and unhealthy at 168 weigh ins recently, he should be at 175.

He got a taste of what is like to fight someone his own size and didn’t like it. He wants to go back to fighting former 147-160lb fighters. He knows Bivol would be way more difficult than Gvozdyk.

He is far bigger than Beterbiev and Bivol. he just can`t beat them.

benavidez can be maybe N.3., that is it.

Can’t see him beating Bivol. In an era where one loss can derail your career for years it would be best for him to get back to 168 and keep lobbying for Canelo or wait until titles become vacant.
