Hey CASUALS = Loma fought with a bad shoulder against Teo , FACT. Remember how Loma wasnt throwing any punches for most of that fight ??? So Teo beat a 1 armed fighter...how impressive...

I’m only saying like 5-6 years ago.

Clearly, for the last 2 years, Tank could’ve used his earning power to fight Loma.

And your assertion that Walters was purposefully “sat for a year” to give Loma the “best chance to win” is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard!
Like I said- I don’t agree. Remember he was a huge underdog and Commey is nothing. Yeah he is bigger. Just don’t revise history and pretend Teo was the favorite going in.

Come on bro. Teo had no choice because he wasn’t a big earner. This is the thing you and others leave out.

Teo and Loma were fighting in 5,000 seat Hulu Theatre. They needed each other to split a $5 mil
purse. Tank makes more than that for much lesser talent because PBV developed his base.

He brought Rigo up in weight.

lmfao dude it went down that way. You know I am not making that up. Walters complained about it.

Since you’re a solid poster, give me a plausible reason why Bob didn’t have them fight at 126 when they were clearly the 2 best FW’s in the world?

I need tall to get back to me when Tank mull ashskut and KO Loma. Technically, Davis is well above average, his timing , traps and Power will give Loma and Stevenson something to think about. Once u begin to think in front of Tank....U ate doomed. U must be able to predict correctly to beat Tank

Teo didnt challenge Loma for the $…Unlike Tank - Teo dared to be great! He talked a lot bs and backed it up! Rigo challenged Loma at that weight …so NO - Loma didn’t bring him up in weight. Just like Kell Brook challenging Ggg at Mw. Walters missed weight against Marriaga and could not make 126 anymore…irregardless the fight was seen by most as a 50/50 fight. Walters being off 11 months had nothing to do with it….and I have NEVER heard of any promoter purposely keeping one fighter inactive for 11 months to give his other fighter an advantage. Ridiculous assertion.

Huh. Remember how Teo demanded more money so Loma gave up more because ESPN told Bob they cut the budget, and thus the paydays, for everyone unless it’s Loma?

He made weight the next fight.

Come on dude. Layoffs like that affect fighters.

Promoters always choose the bigger earner over the other. Bob has done this with Ray (Hagler), Manny (Cotto, Marge) and many others. Loma had a brighter future than Walters.

Like I said - while Pbc “built” Davis name by having him fight a bunch Hispanic b-level comp, Teo(young/unproven/“green”) - challenged Loma and dared to be great! Teo had the nuts to risk his 0 against a PRIME Lomachenko!! Walters made weight his next fight bc he moved up to 130!! Layoffs happen .. - many fighters nowadays fight ONE time a year. And of course promoters favor one over the other..but your assertion of Arum purposely keeping Walters inactive for 11 months to give Loma “ the best chance to win” is unheard of and ridiculous.

If Loma had a shoulder injury or not, only he knows. Or he strategy was for Lopez to use most of his energy in the first rounds then come out strong the last round and get KO. Look at Loma vs Kambosos and Lopez vs Kambosos , a much older Loma. At second part of the fight we saw how much better Loma is than Lopez, he just gave up too many rounds.
