Cruz is the least skilled of the bunch by a country mile. He just has a head made of stone

I sincerely hope you have not actually watched any of his fights... Look, everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Look at Cruz. Look at his size. Look at Lamotta, look at his size, look at Marciano, look at his size, look at Armstrong, look at his size. Armstrong is kind of the exception, but should be mentioned in the interest of fairness... Armstrong was a big lightweight with lots of obvious density to his frame compared to other smaller fighters. Lamotta was strongly built but not really a big fighter for his weight class, ditto for marciano. These guys are all pressure fighters like Cruz... and like Cruz, there is no way on this earth, with physics in operation they could simply "take punches" all night. Not saying Cruz is their equal, only that for Cruz to operate there is no way he can take punches. He simply does not have the density to do so. Caeser Chavez took a bone scan on his forehead and was told his Cabesa had more than twice the normal mass of a person... Not Cruz though!

Pitbull is basically a small fighter for the weight class... Yet you believe that he can just take shots? have you watched instant replay? Cruz is a master of the tight guard. He catches most shots on his glove which is usually (when in close) married to his chin. Pitbull also anticipates to counter and is an underrated counter puncher in that he does not rely at all, on speed, but on positioning.

Second point: if you watch the fight with Tank, you can see Tank is throwing his bombs... It just so happens Cruz is dealing with them again, not by ignoring them, if he did that he would get slept.

Anyhow you are not alone in overlooking the Pitbull... Guy is fantastic and very very young! As they said about Broner "He Yung Do!"

The only fight that should be next should be the guy who whooped tank already and got robbed, his name is Pitbull. And for all the groupies that say Tank only had one hand, then shouldn't have a problem with tank proving he had on off night. But of course we all know tanky prefers to go fight senior citizens and the groupies will go wild....

I am starting to think that boxing pundits have forgotten what a pressure fighter looks like. Even when talking favorably about Cruz they call him a mini Mike Tyson... I have yet to hear anyone discuss his bonafides as what they are. A rarity for today... a legit pure pressure guy. Cruz does not have much of a punch, does not need one! He wears you down and hits you often. He fights like Lamotta to me.
