    Bivol has mastered Soviet Style

while Beter is the ultimate Russian Bear Mauler
He wasn’t troubled at all by the Eastern European style yesterday. Until he got tired and injured his other hand.

Except he didn’t look mediocre with his hurt hands. He performed quite well apart from not being able to hurt Gvozdyk.

Lost a bit of respect for him off this, he FINALLY fights a man his size, is forced to compete, and he can't even give his opponent his respect? I hate when fighters cite injuries that magically did not come up in the hundreds of interviews they did leading up to the fight.

I didn't catch the fight, but injury + new weight usually leads to disaster. All things considered, it seems like some are being a bit harsh on David's performance. I actually agree that he (and Morrell) should stay at 175 and acclimate themselves to the weight. If David was actually 189 last night, he really needs to think about leaving 168 behind. 175 is there for the taking.

let see I still think Ben finally gets Alvarez on Mexican Independence Day

he best fight his azz off. Win at best rematch at minimum

Bivol and Morrell both beat Ben

Ben beats Beter after what Bivol will do to Beter

Look I'm not saying Benavidez isn't an elite, very good fighter .He obviously is .BUT .He's not a monster. He's beat Lemieux and Andrade, 2 middleweights moving up and failed to stop Plant. Against a man his own size he looked good but it's apparent he really is a weight bully. And he's making excuses, not a good look.
