I think Tank will knock this version of Loma out.

When it comes to Loma, these are not excuses, Loma (even years ago) was not the fighter at 135lbs he used to be at 130lbs & 126lbs. What were Tank's excuses for not fighting Lomachenko back at 130lbs?

My point with Tank vs Stevenson is that they're the #1 & #2 fighters at 135lbs and that's who I want to see fight. I think they both beat Loma at this point and I don't think any excuses are needed for that, it's the way of the sport, however, the ducking of the Tank vs Lomachenko fight back at 135lbs shouldn't be the way of the sport and bringing the match up today just brings memories of that.
Shakur is a tremendous talent but he doesn’t bring commercial value. Tank vs Loma is simply the bigger fight.

I feel for Stevenson a little but it’s just the business of boxing. He should unify against Berinchyk I think. There would be clamour for undisputed then.

Tank was a young prospect building his fanbase. Don’t forget, he defeated Pedrazza long before Loma fought him. That was the fight Tank was not top 10 and stepped up to fight an undefeated, top 10 champion with 2 defenses.

I thought Shakur and Loma were. They are in house as well so seemingly no problem.

I think we need to keep consistent. Loma called out Tank because he is the money man in the division. Understandable. But young Tank wasn’t going to beat prime Loma.

So Tank will try to use Loma as the aging veteran win that propels him forward, as had happened throughout the history of the sport.

I agree with you, but let’s call out ducking and protecting every time, not just the PBC guys. Loma is ducking Shakur but wants the money fight with Tank:

I agree with a lot of what you're saying, especially about being consistent. Tank beat Pedraza before Lomachenko, which made him a champion, he was not a prospect. Loma has always wanted all the belts in every weightclass he has fought. This put Tank on his sights.

I think most top 135lbs fighters are avoiding Shakur for as long as possible, I have nothing against PBC or their fighters and I definitely don't care about defending TopRank or their fighters.

Loma is still not old enough for Tank to fight. I see him taking a long break, facing Pitbull again next year and after that maybe Loma when he is about to retire.

As to Loma wanting all the belts- that imo became a fallacy when he asked to be emeritus right before Haney became the mando. If you want all the belts, don’t give one away.

I agree as well. We will see once he leaves TR. I doubt the Tank fight happens. If he goes to 140 I doubt Bob works with him since he left.

His best bet may be Matchroom.

No he didn’t. He lost a close fight. It happens.

I like tank, he's a good fighter, but he's not gonna be able to KO Loma...unless Loma make a huge rookie mistake, but I dont see it happening. Loma is not in his prime, but his experience will be good enough to not get KO'd by tank.. just like Manny during his late run (ex: vs Lucas, broner, Thurman, ugas), pac's experience was good enough to keep him from getting KO'd... if Loma stays active against tank, I can see Loma winning on points but will get robbed out of a decision... Tank is just not active enough... and he's not gonna be able to beat loma fighting like that. Loma is too smart to get caught with power shot from tank, since tank doesn't really set his power shot up. I got Loma winning on points but getting robbed on the scorecard.
