well first there is the matter of weight, canelo just heard david say he was 189 pounds on fight night, 31 pounds over 168, even the most brutal weight cuts max out around 25 pounds, so even coming to 168 will be hard and canelo will try to put in a rehydration clause.
but lets ignore that for now, canelo will need david to respect his power if he is to win, i cant see david being bothered buy it and if we assume david gasses guess what canelo also gasses and david pressuring canelo for 6 rounds that will wear down canelo with him constantly moving, avoiding shots ect. they will both be tired second half. you could see Gvozdyk didnt really tire too bad and he was able to physically push david off him whenever he wanted move him around ect, david cant wear down the bigger guys like he does smaller men.
its possible canelo can win rounds late if he survives the relentless pressure which he probably would but he still looses too many rounds IMO.

well yeah he was a better fighter at 32 than 37. thats like saying Pacquaio had more success with Mayweather than Ugas, two fights which are also 5 years apart.
