Best Defense Today Saul Alvarez T-Bud Crawford Bivol

Who comes closest to being a defensive wizard

Alvarez is fly for a white guy with D that took him across multiple weight divisions

excellent head movement and upper body sliqueness

T-Bud has been hurt and dropped before, but his bobbing and weaving allows him to fight with his lead hand low

Bivol making opponents miss by inches and parries are nothing flashy, but his opponents have the lowest connect rate

Every time he has fought a real threat, he's been trashed. Any boxer can look awesome when fighting two or three levels down fighters.

honorable mention to the Ukrainians Loma and Usyk

They’re like the giant version of one another or a mini-me

this Ukrainian Cossack Dance coupled with slips leave opponents missing

Shakira Stevenson is the best defensive fighter at the moment. Even if he ran like a chicken against De Los Santos.

For the exception of his previous fight; I believe Bivol holds the record for the less connect percentage against him in all of boxing. So I would have to go with Bivol.

Yes, that is true. I believe Bivol comes in at a very close second.
