Fight wise, Bivol is VERY hittable the last few fights and all you have to do is watch his last fight. He got landed on flush as he was coming up squared up trying to pressure his opponent.

Beterbiev... yeah, he is getting older for sure, but he can still crack and has the fundamentals. His age has not shown yet, and we have not seen a decline yet as we saw with Kovalev around the same time.

Artur is also a devout ******, does not abuse his body, constantly stays in shape and is focused. The dude is not drinking and partying himself to old age.

IF Bivol stays focused and his head is in the game and he does not try and go for KO, he can likely frustrate and cruise to a UD win.... however if he loses focus during any of the 12 rounds (which he has a tendency to do), Artur is going to stop Bivol.
Awesome post and quite accurate to add

Looking back on Bivol last fight it really confirmed to me that he is purely a technical boxer that is very good at going through the motions, but that is it. Beterbiev also knows how to box just as well but he is more of a fighter, way more dog in him. That will give Beterbiev the edge if Bivol makes it inside the distance.

I do not see this fight as 50 50 at all

        Beter has been dropped twice.

        Neither opponents were elites.

A str8 right put Beter on his ass.

The other opponent hooked him down

Beter needs to break opponents down before stopping them when pitted against elites

Bivol will pick apart Beter well before the latter could break down the former

Bivol has shown a clinch game when necessary

Easy fight Beter has too many vulnerabilities

and Bivol is too complete a boxer. The departments where he’s lacking is head movement

But Beter will be unable to get anything going

Bivol’s parry jab will counter the sht out of Beter

Beter eats counter left hook as he tries to bridge the gap with a rolling right hand

Cubano Morrell also beats Beter and would be the fighter to bring it to Bivol

still favor Bivol as he’s special effects

a willingness to get punched in the face comes into play if it’s a war

manny’s willingness to be punched in the face couldn’t save him when Floyd imposed a chess match upon his ass

I haven't suggested nothing like that, but I wouldn't be surprised if it does happens, it is not 100% can't happen.

As I said it’s unlikely, I didn’t say it was impossible.

Yes but Bivol is not Floyd and that his is problem in this match. He is going to get mauled and dragged into a war if he wants to win. If he wants to go the safe route and survive a UD12 loss he can choose for that as well.

do not need a Mayweatheresque godlike skill level for Beter

If Gvozdyk knew how to parry the jab and return with his own, he could have boxed his way to victory!

Bivol is a master at the catch and shoot jab
