Wide decision for Whittaker coming. Not sure what they’ll do with him next.

i wanna see Ezra vs the Willings guy that fought Whittaker in his last fight

His footwork isn't as undisciplined as Kelly, but I'll readily admit that Whitaker will turn into a Kelly if he doesn't fulfil his potential

When it's clear that you outclass your opponent in all aspects, you should knock him out.

Bit of a scare there the last 15 sec but still came out on top.

Whitaker doesn't have the power to be elite. As soon as he fights anyone with speed and accuracy, who doesn't telegraph their punches, Whitaker will be in huge trouble. There's a reason he's already 27yo and still fighting low level opposition - he's being protected until they can cash him out against a half-decent opponent.

Strange fight to predict with both fighters having tendencies to blow hot and cold, looking great at times and going missing for whole rounds otherwise

Reminds me of Josh Kelly in a way

I always said when Josh Kelly fights somebody that can time his flashy antics and he has to rely on pure fundamentals, he's going to come up short and I think that about Whittaker. he's got all the flashy moves but there's fighters out there that will force you to have to use your fundamentals more and then we'll see what you're really made of.

Of course power isn't everything, plenty of good fighters without big power but I think its definitely more important for fighters with that style
