If he’s got the conditioning his footwork and size will get Gvozdyk the victory .

He was sparked by Beterbiev & retired to pursue his businesses in Ukraine. Poor guy has presumably lost everything so he has to come back. That doesn't mean he has no chance, I remember Willie Wise shocking JCC. It should, however, be born in mind when considering a bet.

as much as i thought Voz had a lot going for him four years ago he left and came back and i dont recall a big noise being made in the ring by him in his return.. could it turn into one hell of a fight sure, will Voz be the one to walk away with a win i just dont see it. Is he capable of beating superman ? Well he did to it once about seven years ago but now and how that all played out was a night not like many others for Voz. Hope for a hell of a fight and to be proved wrong would be nice also.

Can't see it. I can see him outboxing Benavidez in a few rounds & being competitive for half the fight but once Benavidez gets warmed up, throwing heavy leather in there...I think thats all she wrote.

Gvodzyk retired Superman Stevenson, after Stevenson had him nearly KO'd. He isn't just any ole LHW, or even any ole HW Champ. He was very special, and after resting and healing a few years, I'm betting he is special again. Boxing wear and tear over years of fights and sparring takes a huge toll on the hands, wrists, arms, and body. Most boxers would gain a lot by getting a few years of rest in the middle of their careers. I honestly think Benavidez took on a way better fighter than Canelo in this one. He will have to show me he can beat this former champ at Light-Heavy. I'm picking Gvodzyk.

PS - If Benavidez pulls this out, then WOW! The sky is the limit for him.

Masta-Basta: the vast majority of athletes do not improve their performance by taking 3 or 4 years off. It might help 'wear & tear' but I don't believe it can be helpful overall. Ali took a break, due to the actions of the US Government, Tyson took a break, due to being in penitentiary, neither was improved by that enforced absence. SRL took a break &, in fairness, then shocked Hagler, but I don't think the 'rest' helped him achieve that!

Gvozdyk of 2018 would put a boxing clinic but this is mid of 2024 already. Benavidez wins by KO

Definitely he is cashing out. He took years off to go into business and apparently all fell apart so he went back to boxing. This is definitely his cash out fight. Yes he is skilled but he is fighting a pressure fighter 10 years his junior.

he will will a few rounds and then get lit up by Benavidez mid fight. He gets KO’ed in the 7th or 8th.

problem is “the nail” is very hittable and is absolutely not going to dodge David like Bivol dodged Canelo all night.
