It's not fear of Bena..none of these guys are scared..it's more like fear of losing to a particular person he does not like and has a chance

I don’t think Canelo is scared either.
Benavidez was on First Take this morning. He made a point that made a lot of sense.
Canelo said Benavidez isn’t marketable, yet wants $150 mil to fight him. David said if he isn’t marketable, how do you expect to make that much?
Fair question.
My guess is they will fight September or next May.

Leonard Ellerbe, is EVERYTHING wrong with boxing!
The quintessential boxing vampire: A person with no respect for rules of the sport, a willingness to act dishonestly and unfairly in order to gain an advantage without any regard to those that dedicated their entire life and legitimately earned the opportunity denied them. The use of inappropriate criteria in order to obtain an unearned and unfair advantage for the match-ups based upon the amount of money he can skim off the top.

Damn
After reading this article I just realized there's no difference between
WBC President Maurice Sulaiman and
Mayweather Promotions Leonard Ellerbe
Both full of constant excuses........Last edited by greeneye99; 06-13-2024, 11:41 AM.

Ellerbe's blood boils just seeing Dela Hoya. He found an ally in Alvarez.
But being a promoter means not showing bias to fighters in your stable.
It needs finesse and you don't take sides among your fighters.
He's doing it again here like when he said, "Frank Martin can't beat Tank Davis"
even long before the fight was made. (So why make the fight then?)

Lenard Ellerbe is a leach and boxers are the host that he feeds on. At this moment, Canelo just happens to have the most blood.Boricua181
