    Excellent thread.

I would say Wilder. When Broner got beat by maidana he accepted the loss.

Wilder still had that fraud mindset until the Parker fight. He built a literal fraudulent pumprd up rep on nothing but unranked fighters and every American believed the "greatest puncher ever" lie.

      That's a good point.

It’s actually not their fault that fans fall for their bullchit
I blame the uneducated fan who just follows and has obviously never been a leader
Many on here are exactly that ; followers not leaders

Fraud would be Broner. You hear a lot of about wasted talent when it comes to Broner but the people who say that might not have seen the Fernando Quintero fight that Broner lost wide as a prospect and got a major gift and he also got a gift against Ponce De Leone. This was all before he lost to Maidana. He wasn't good, he just showed flashes of being good.

Wilder was an overachiever. He started boxing late and still managed to picked up an Olympic medal and held a real world title for years. He wasn't great but that was known since the start of his career. He was exciting though.

Broner. I remember the Ponce De Leon fight. He looked dreadful and his resume is littered with subpar competition. He has a chin and he has some power which was good enough with the matchmaking to make people think he was better than he was. Anytime he faced resistance, he did all he could to make sure he didn't get knocked out. Often times the judges bailed him out like they did with Granados and Santiago. If boxing wasn't boxing, AB would have about 10 losses on his ledger right now.

As Mammoth stated, Wilder overachieved. Nobody ever thought his skills were good just that he had power and was exciting. Some may question his power but that's another debate....

Wilders right hand was no joke and I still think he could have beaten better quality fighters if Fury hadn't dented his head in. He wasnt the same after that.

Broner was always a fraud. At least Wilder had the right hand from the heavens that could have won him any fight.

Fury needs to go to jail for that one. I still wonder how he managed to get the egg weight in his glove without anyone noticing
