Barboza boxes around Catterall.. that’s a bad matchup for Jack.. no need for Barboza to go fight this guy in his hometown, that makes absolutely no sense. Barboza should be fighting on the August 3rd LA card but the Saudis are trying to block out Oscar for some odd reason.

Feed them all to Matias. The man deserves a feast and some more shine.

That's the same way I see it playing out.

    Fact's!

Barboza is very much mediocre. Teo still may not fight him because Teo has a habit of needing generous judging when he faces someone who can box and take a punch.

It's a testament to careful matchmaking and generous judges that Barboza still has a 30-0 record on paper.

Barbosa should fight Catterall or Hitchins. Winner gets Matias or Lopez.

Barbosa could have had his Lopez shot already if he really wanted it. He's 32, did not look good in his last fight and doesn't seem to be in a particular hurry. Not good. At all.

That's exactly the way I see it! Barboza wanted to put on a show his first fight under the Golden Boy Banner, and he was a bust.
The one who put on a show was McComb, to Barboza's surprise, and at his expense. Barboza's just not a top 10 fighter in the 140 pound weight division.
