I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume Hunter means that he was in Usyk's "back yard" because the promotion was showcasing the Ukrainian fighter and Hunter was brought in as the opponent.

I always liked Hunter, I think he's a crafty boxer but he definitely has a chip on his shoulder (I'm assuming on account of his later father's experience in the industry). I'd have to guess that he's not the easiest to work with.

It seems like there is a lot of blame of others and excuses in that interview. He says that Hear. Was his best promoter but then blames him for the struggles he's experienced.

He went after the easy money and a path to obscurity when he signed with Triller but he probably could have had a lot more success if he gambled on himself and pursued a different path.
