I’ve been more impressed with Shu Shu in other fights than I was last night.

Wish he’d get a different trainer than Kay Koroma. Go to the Terence Crawford camp, for example.

Shu is a very likeable boxer, so admitting some bias here, I thought he looked very good vs a motivated opponent last night. Aside from getting careless at times, which I'm sure was due to him feeling like his opponent was not much of a threat to him, he did a lot of really good things. He dominated from the opening bell, countered well, didn't take too many flush shots and made the fight exciting, which I appreciate most of all. When you know a lot of eyes are on you, one of the worst things a fighter can do is stink out the joint, and Shu did not fall into that trap for the sake of getting the W.

That said, I don't think Inoue was scared away by anything he saw last night and would welcome a fight with the young Brooklynite. I would prefer to see Shu finally take on a top 10 guy next, perhaps a Ruben Villa or Josh Warrington.

I like Shu Shu and I see a great future for him in boxing. He doesn't need to go messing around with Inoue though. That's trouble of the worst kind. He's still a ways off from being ready for that , even then , he gets stopped by the Monsta !

For the upteenth time, anyone in featherweights wanting a paycheck should go line up for the ticket aka get a friggin belt, there are four of them. It is already a known fact that the first guy in 126 to fight Inoue will have a belt by de facto.

No matter how talented or not, Inoue isn't fighting a non-title fight not until he loses.

I would be interested in this fight once Inoue cleaned out 122, but only if Carrington has earned a belt or 2.

He could be just big and long enough to give Inoue a tough fight in 2-3 years.
