Why on earth would the WBC sanction this fight? Pacquiao hasn't fought since August 2021 and he got thoroughly beaten by a guy Barrios just beat in Yordenis Ugas in that fight.

I mean, I know why, that was a rhetorical question. But it's absolutely ridiculous that Pacquiao can just walk into a title fight. He hasn't won a boxing match since 2019.

He couldn't even beat Ugas in 2021 and Barrios just beat the dog crap out of Ugas in 2023. Pac is 45 and hasn't won a fight since 2019. He's coming back to get himself Berbick'd like Ali.
