With Tyson Fury's career coming to an end, does he make your top 25 heavyweights of all time?

If we are talking about skills, I believe he is one of the top 25 HW ever. For greatness, he isn't yet, but after beating AJ and Usyk he will definitely be there

yeah but i just explained how that made no sense. why would he be #1? because joshua lost to usyk right? well why isnt usyk #1 then? not as many creampuff defenses like wilder? doesnt have the same knockout power against creampuffs as wilder? if you go by resume usyk would be above wilder and so would joshua since he still had a bette resume than wilder even though he lost. the same exact scenario literally just happenedw hen usyk beat fury. fury only fell 1 spot to make way for usyk. some other random guy who only fought bums didnt suddenly become #1 because fury lost

I think you have your timelines mixed up, back then Usyk was not even in the conversation. At that time Wilder was arguably #1 because Joshua who was regarded as #1 lost to Ruiz the previous year. The only other belt holder was then Wilder. So you had Wilder the WBC champ who was undefeated with 10 defenses, Anthony Joshua who had just lost (and regained the titles) and Fury with no belts.

The argument for Wilder as #1 could easily been made during that 2020-2021 period.

People love to discredit a fighter after a loss, in this case a loss against what is now a solidified ATG in Usyk…

Fury dethroned Klitschko, beat the best American heavyweight and arguably the #1 heavyweight at the time in Wilder. Took down a slew of top contenders in Whyte, Chisora, and Wallin.

Fury has a solid resumé, and passes the eye test in regards to skill and talent.

I think he's a handful for anybody at 6'9" & 270lbs.

The 2020 version of Tyson Fury is a top 20 or so HW of all-time.
