Comments Thread For: Adrien Broner: 'I'm Special, Fighters Like Me Only Come Along Every 30 Years'

Adrien Broner is running late. In that sense, it's business as usual for "The Problem," who returns to the ring for the first time in a year to face Blair Cobbs this Friday in Hollywood, Florida.

    Put your money on Cobbs.

Broner has been trying to talk himself back to his prime years, which he'll never see again.

I'll always remember the hype this guy got from American boxing fans and media. They completely ignored all his atrocious performances early on, some against very low tier fighters.

Happens all the time with Amy semi decent fighter from that part of the world.

Don't laugh fellas! This is actually both tragic and sad. What a waste of talent? Had he only stayed both focused and disciplined he could have been great.

15 years from now; When all boxing fans, scholars and historians alike reflect back on his career. They would refer to him as what could have been and the fighter he could have been.

I've never witnessed such a waste of human tragedy and talent as I have with Adrien Broner's career. He had the world by the balls and in the palm of his hands but allowed it to all slip away.

I wonder if he will average more than 10 punches thrown per round (while averaging about 20 postures and head shakes)?

That King is still breathing is the most intriguing thing about this card
