i know im not sure what hes trying too dohaha for real man i was somewhat a fan of froch but now im startin to get sick of his mouth...theres no need to talk this much (its not selling the fight) the tournament itself is the selling point, i mean come one 6 world class fighters in a tournament this is epic for the sport...but the way i see it a fighter should say what he needs to say ONE TIME and then let the talking come in the ring
if anything all this talk shows weaknessComment

agreed most people start talkin a lot of change certain things about how they act when they get nervous and froch hasn't been in the worlds spotlight for too long so i dont know if this is how he normally acts but IMO this will do nothing but make him lose fans...and if i were froch (or anyone in this tournament for that matter) i would be nervous as hell this is one of the biggest events boxing has ever seen like i said before not a lot of talk is needed to hype any of these fightsComment

indeed we will...hope the first two fights can live up to the hype of the tourney all i know is IM ORDERIN lol
dude you are just letting your likeness for froch blind you...im a HUGE ricky hatton fan but i can still understand where people are coming from when they say things about him and even if i dont like what theyre sayin it can make sense sometimes all were sayin is that if froch were as good as he/ you thinks then why does he need to run his mouth so damn much, and ive talked to you before about this kind of thing i think froch is good but real talent doesnt need to be spoken just show it in the ringComment

I agree, great observation. This fight has that Mayweather vs Genaro Hernadez and Adamek vs Dawson type of feeling to me. Everyone had the same questions for Floyd and Dawson like there questioning Dirrell. I really believe Dirrell has a chance. I have all his avaliable fights on DVD along with all of Froch's. I like Froch, but I think the hand speed with be a problemLast edited by Bhopreign; 10-13-2009, 05:18 PM.Comment

I think Dirrell is going to try to run in this fight and Froch will have to cut off the ring and put the heat on him. The good thing is, that it is in the UK so the judges won't be kind to Dirrell if he resorts to what he did in the Stevens fight.Comment

Anyone know if this has a legit online broadcaster?
Somewhat off topic, but does anyone know if this is being shown by an internet broadcaster like secondsoutTV (they aren't)? I don't have a TV and I hate relying on ****ty streams. Can't seem to find any legit internet broadcaster out there...
Froch's always talked like this, as far as I recall (albeit it does seem like he's spending most of his time talking to the press this time around). I think it's a mixture of confidence and resentment - he openly feels that he doesn't get the respect he deserves, especially in Britain. So I wouldn't be reading into this too much.
On the fight itself - this is a lot harder to call than I initially thought. At first I had Froch, easy. But I've watched a ton more Dirrell fights now and, while he does have flaws and hasn't faced massive opposition, he just may possess the most raw talent in the tournament. I think he'll be able to use his speed really effectively against Froch for half the fight, but inevitably I see Froch catching up on him with a late TKO. Froch is a much smarter fighter than he's given credit for and I think he has a real instinct for what's actually going on inside the ring. He has the ability and maturity to adapt and set the pace of the fight when he needs to and I think this will give him the victory.
I've no doubt this will be a smashing fight. Just hope I don't have to watch it on a stuttering stream.

How dont you have a tv but have a computer, assuming its yours? At any rate if you dont catch it live Id recommened just having the video trading block page up instead of this forum, then download from there once its put up.Somewhat off topic, but does anyone know if this is being shown by an internet broadcaster like secondsoutTV (they aren't)?
