I believe Brian Norman is the interim belt guy or something so I think I'd prefer him over everyone if hes fit to fight in July.

Assuming Crawford never returns the belt situation is
WBA: Stanionis (currently "Regular")
WBC: Barrios (not sure if he's officially been promoted to champion from interim status yet but Crawford has been stripped)
IBF: Ennis
WBO: Brian Norman Jr. (currently "interim")

Crawford will probably vacate everything officially after the Madrimov fight, he just wants to be introduced as the welterweight champion when he comes to the ring. At that point Stanionis will be full WBA ttilist, Norman will be full WBO, and Barrios will either be full WBC or fighting a contender for the vacant belt.

I agree 100%. Ennis hasn't really accomplished much, yet some fans try to act like he's torn up the boxing world. He doesn't have the drawing power to have interested Spence or Crawford. Is Ennis talented? Yes, but that doesn't mean he's a great fighter. Lots of guys with talent ultimately don't pan out. The welterweight division is pretty bleak right now. Only Stanionis would be an interesting fight for Boots, but Stanionis needs another fight or two to shake the ring rust.

Boots isnt even that active yet Stanionis still needs a "fight or two"? That speaks volumes about where you think Boots is.
