If Salvador Sanchez had lived, would he had surpassed Julio Cesar Chavez Sr?

Re-reading I messed up putting Parisi as a contender:So of the listed, Chavez has beaten 13 champions (2 Hall of Famers) and Sanchez has beaten 4 champions (3 Hall of Famers, One of them being beaten twice). Chavez also beat 16 top ranked contenders aiming for the title while Sanchez had surprisingly beaten 7 despite his short career. Still less than half.
-Giovanni Parisi was a two division champion that defended his title in multiple bouts heaving beaten Freddi Pendleton and Sammy Fuentes, he was the WBO champ at 135 and 140. He was also a Golden Olympian in 1988. He was (29-1) at Age 27 when they fought.
There was also:
-Sammy Fuentes became a WBO light welterweight champion. He was 25 years old with a record of 21-6-1 (17 KOs).
That is 15 champions Chavez had beaten over Sanchez's 4 though not completely sure that's all of them.Last edited by Malvado; 06-07-2024, 01:27 PM.Comment
