He has a fight already scheduled in August and then he probably has to defend against the interim champion Barroso after that.

Lopez is on a similar timeline to Catterall and he's the actual champion of the division. Cruz is just a belt holder.

Why would Lopez fight Jack, what does Jack have that anyone wants or needs? Jack is ranked 4th by The Ring, 6th by the WBO, 3rd by the IBF, 5th by the WBC and 3rd by the WBA at Super Lightweight.

Jack Catterall, Regis and Matias are all fighting with the same promoter on the same network and not even they want to fight him for nothing in London. In the end, Jack has nothing Regis, Matias or Teofimo Lopez wants or needs.
