Looks like we're in the minority. I myself had Ford winning. He stunned Ball several times, picked him apart with quality shots several times, and so on. Ball just threw more punches, but many of them were landing on Ford's gloves.

They say Ball was robbed vs Rey Vargas, but I didn't agree on that one either. Vargas had made Ball look silly for six rounds; his only fault was being knocked down.

Make no mistake, Ball is a good fighter with an incredible energy. But, in boxing, superior class should be kept in higher consideration.

Same here. I was expecting Ball to win, and Ball was making Ford look very uncomfortable for much (but not all) of the first half, but Ford looked very composed and made it his fight again in the second half. I could easily have seen Ford eek out another close win, but it was so close either way that it's hard to be disppointed no matter the result. To me, the disappointing part is just that we won't see a rematch since Ford is set on moving to 130 and Ball is already tiny for 126.

Very close fight. No problem with the verdict. Ball's volume edged it. Neither guy should go near Shock Foster at 130. Ball is tiny. I don't see him moving up anytime soon. Shame Navarrete ate himself out of 130.
