That is absurdist. Does it truly outrage you? Yikes. We live in a world of nations you know. You just dont want him to take pride in the one he lives in. Irish, British and Americans have always relished a friendly rivalry. No boxer would become outraged by a display of national loyalty.

I agree. Eddie expressing a bit of pride in British fighters winning shouldn't threaten anyone. But beyond that there's the business context of the whole 5v5 nonsense which surely has more appeal to Brit fans than anyone else, and it's OK to play to one's base if only for marketing purposes.

DAZN exec’s should finally realize Hearn and Matchroom got trounced by their rival. So embarrassing. To mak matters worse, Sky/ Boxxer is eating their lunch.

Dazn will be delighted if the viewing figures are great, apparently, they were excellent for Fury and AJ previous shows. There is actually a rumor Warren may move to Dazn anyway when his contract is up. Dazn just wants viewers and that show was excellent,

As for Sky / Boxxer dear God they are awful, they are pulling it back slightly but they are so far behind its terrible. Rumor is Sky is dropping Boxxer for someone else when that contact expires Wasserman? or Adam Smiths new lot? Sky is making more money of the Saudi PPVs they got and would like some of Vs money too.

No need for a next time Edward. You got your arse shredded in comprehensive fashion.

            Ford was found lacking
            Ammo was pooh
            Zinad was overmatched
            Hrgy was exposed
            Wilder was shot

If that's your best 5 then I'm good. No need to run it back.

Your stable is cräp apart from Opetaia and maybe, just maybe AJ but we won't know til he faces a real opponent.

Turki shouldn't even be giving you the time of day anymore ya muppet!

Bivol vs. Zinad wasn't part of the tournament, as far as I know; Hutchsonsin vs. Richards was the fifth fight. In fact, Bivol is a Matchroom-promoted fighter.

Anyway, if there were another tournament, Daniel Dubois vs Anthony Joshua would make for the perfect headline. Sheeraz vs. Felix Cash could also be a fun fight.

My bad. I only tuned in from Ball v Ford.

Well in that case Bivol, Opetaia and AJ are Eddie's prize heifers with plenty left in their udders he can milk dry.

Hearn still has a few decent fighters like Ennis, Bam, Matias, Cruz, Pacheco... These guys might be able to compete (not win obviously) against Queensberry fighters.

Nah, he'd be cooler with the American losing to a fellow American than a guy from elsewhere, or the Irishman losing to a fellow Irishman.

Applying absolute logic, however, this only really works when the promoter AND both fighters all share the same nationality.

Matchroom in general has really sunk from the highs of the mid 2010s. Coincidentally it started when Hearn started attaching himself to DAZN and getting ideas in his head about taking over America.
