Real Talk...is Bivol more skilled than Usyk?

Is he a greater technical fighter than even Usyk? every movement of his boxing is so smooth?

Bivol is more textbook while Ursk has more of his own style on it, depends what you define as skills because they both highly skilled in their own ways.

yes he is. he is better defensively than usyk.

they carry about the same power.

he's beaten more skilled fighters too. underrated. that's why clownshoe casuals don't understand why Arum and Beterbiev would duck him all these years.

No. Bivol is actually quite basic, he's just really good at the basics.

Like bivol a lot, but usyk is far superior.

Yes he is. Usyk doesn't have to be that skilled because he is fighting big stiffs.

I missed the fight and only remembered he fought a replacement today because of the outlandish claims I keep seeing today. I thought he must've won a fight vs some no-hoper finally by KO and now people are going to praise him like he just beat Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury.

Dmitry Bivol is clearly a great fighter and I would predict he beats Beterbiev and Benavidez. But to go crazy over this win and talk about him being better than Usyk, Inoue, or Crawford due to today's win, is a little nuts. I'd wait for that kind of praise after he beats Beterbiev and Benavidez. Usyk came UP from cruiserweight to beat AJ and Fury. Bivol's best win is a blown up middleweight who came up in weight to fight him. Huge difference.

I'm not knocking Bivol's skills, as I said, I think he beats all the top guys at 168-175, and I would actually give him a very good shot to beat Jai Opetaia at Cruiser. That's how good I think Bivol is. He is a great fighter. But this fight that just happened is not the fight that makes me think that. The posts seem to be newfound realizations of Bivol that match a big win. This was not a big win.
