    my definition of boxing is:

to hit and not get hit
    to outthink your opponent
    to outmanuever them as well

its not called "brawling" or "fighting" for a reason because its "boxing"

Found this in terms of the actual origin of the word:

Boxing got its name from the latin word for fighting: boxeo.
To slap or stroke with the fist.

**** that, Hatton > LaMotta by a mile when it comes down to silky boxing skills.

If the name of the game is to hit and not get hit, then these two are numbers 1 & 2 on the ATG list.

Man I guess. I just always thought Hatton was overly defensive and runs all night. Too boring for me. Jake was a master at slipping punches and had excellent footwork.
