Since when are there different standards for stoppages based on "stakes and levels"?

Of course it matters :/

Fury is known to have a great chin, managed to rise from the dead vs Wilder, and it was for the undisputed title- that's what I meant by stakes. Fights should never be stopped especially in the championship rounds for those kind of fights.


This guy was a last minute stand in, did ok but clearly out of his depth. The refs job is to protect the fighters. He took about 18 head shots in a row before ref stepped in. That's what I mean by levels. He is several levels below Bivol.

Cmon man, you know that they should let bigger fights go the distance, or until someone gets KTFO.

I'm not saying these are my standards, but this is how it goes. This wouldn't have been stopped if he had any chance of beating Bivol or anywhere near his level.

For the same reasons Fury wasn't stopped vs Usyk or vs Wilder. There are different standards
