Yes your probably right but my point is....Arum/Top Rank takes care of pretty much everything. Cotto's job is to train and fight.

This is not true either. The "Muhammad Ali Boxing Reform Act" prohibits promoters from taking percentages of fighters purses on shows where they promote the live gate and all media ancillary rights. Bob Arum is not entitled to enforce his contractual "Promoter's %" on either Manny Pacquiao or Miguell Cotto. The fighters will receive their pre-negotiated purses minus expenses and taxes if they so choose as well as any pre-negotiated PPV percentages due. Bob Arum will receive the live gate revenue unless he sold it previously to a casino or site promoter and his cut of PPV revenues as well as any advertising he may sell in regards to the fight. Arum and HBO will assume the marketing expense and all other fight expenses as agreed upon. Arum will be responsible for the undercard purses as well as all travel and meals. The room and meals are usually comped by the host casino as part of a site or advertising trade agreement. Arum will also receive a hefty fee from HBO.
