Please help me settle a debate. Would Canelo be able to defeat a 48 year old Wladimir Klitschko if he decided to come out of retirement for one final fight?

YES!!! at 48, klits will not have the stamina, discipline to beat canelo. a 48 year old Michael Jordan will not be able to beat someone like kawhi leonard in a 1on1 match.

      That's a good point!

no. 48 isnt that old. past his prime for sure but not enough for a super middle weight to do him in.

if you want an example of old and frail then go see Holyfield at 58 get wrecked by belfort, something we should have never had to see.

No, i’m sure Wlad can still jab and throw right crosses. And he’s likely not a fat slob. He can also clinch. He’s also physically so much bigger no matter what Canelo weighs. Wlad is 6’6” after all. Unless Wlad completely forgot how to box and the fundamentals he used for decades.

If Canelo is going to play the waiting game it is not going to work for him. Wlad keeps him on a distance and drops that right.

I think you’re misinterpreting the size difference. 48 year old Mike could still whoop Chris Paul 1 vs 1. He’d just back him up and shoot over him.

The same way Wlad could just jab, grab and maul Canelo all night.

CP is 39!!!!! even then, I believe CP can beat MJ in a 1on1... CP still too fast on his feet vs 61 year old MJ!!! I brought up Kawhi because he's around the same age as canelo!!
