Originally posted by rickJen View PostTrue. It's always been like that. Just months ago fans were suggesting that Crawford, who was already in his 8th month of being inactive, that he should fight the Tszyu/Fundora winner, as one example among many. Meaning, they're okay with Crawford to wait around some more considering the winner is expected to take a long rest and who knows when he's ready to come back. Not to mention a lot of things can change or happen drastically in a week, let alone months, like injuries, or some new kid on the block appears and gains attention. Who would have thought Mardrimov would become part of the conversation? What if he didn't? Will the waiting continue, no problem?

This was the fight I was most looking forward to, too bad. Hope they can reschedule in the fall. Whatever happened to Danny Garcia? Hasn't fought in almost two years after moving up to 154. He'd be a good opponent but he doesn't seem interested in taking those type of risks.
Ortiz hasn't really made a big name for himself so it will be difficult to find a big name to take Tszyu's place. Too much risk for too little reward.

These are fans we are talking about, not team members.

When you split someone's head open down to the white meat, it takes awhile to heal. I gun butt a lame once and his head split open like a pig's feet
