It’s common knowledge that Haney has been using IV drip to rehydrate for fights for ages. Prograis wants his title back because of this. It’s cheating plain and simple.

So one cheater got beat by another cheater. Hard to have a shred of sympathy or believe either of the two liars either way. Of course they’ll dream up every excuse in the book or spin it whatever way they can.

Garcia took performance enhancing drugs. Fact.

Whether they got there intentionally or not only affects the punishment. Why didn’t they send a sample to Vada for testing? why didn’t they locate unopened samples from the same batch and send some to Vada and some to their tester at the same time?

Why can’t a multi millionaire boxer obtain a clean legitimate supplements? why haven’t there been loads of other test failures from people taking these presumably widely available supplements? It all stinks. He’s lying, he took them intentionally and now he’s trying to get away with a 6 month ban.

Genuine fans will of the sport wouldn’t loose any sleep if either of these two were never seen in the ring again. Neither has any integrity. Both lie. Both cheat.

I'm not an expert however, I find it weird that his hair and nail sample tested negative despite ingesting contaminated supplements. His piss was positive, his hair and nails clean while his supplements were tainted....something seems odd.

Who tested hair and nails and who requested it, how do we know they his hair and nails, was it the same people who tested the sups that Ryans lawyers commissioned.

It does seem somewhat odd, however depending on when he took said "supplements" follicle tests only show results of drugs beyond the 7-10 day mark of taking said "supplements" and potentially show years of (mis)use but not with the same efficacy as 90 days which has an 85% confidence index.

That's why it's still important to do piss tests as it shows drugs that have short half lifes with immediate effects e.g. a steroid inhaler which half life is only about 72 hours but it's effects would be incredible particularly during a fight if you were to use a flovent inhaler though i think they're discontinued now.

Which we have seen happen before in an MMA fight during the rounds for a non asthmatic.

Not a fan of Haney, in fact the polar opposite. I don't rate him highly, never have. The idea that I'd be biased toward him is laughable, frankly.

I was rooting for Garcia heavily in their fight, although I thought he'd lose.

I do, however, live inside reality, where we know, that Garcia was assisted when he was in the ring against Haney. Which seems to be the part you're struggling with.
I guess we agree it was Haney lack of defensive and skill set that cost him the fight not osterine or what ever it’s called

Maybe Haney was overrated as well

“The New York Commission won’t accept these results from a container that’s been opened. You’ve got to be joking. This sounds awfully fishy. This is some bulls***."

Here, take these open containers and test them--well, maybe not too accurate that way. We hope Ryan didn't cheat because it takes away from the beating he gave Haney. Question: Can't they test one day before the fight and get the results? That would be fair and safer for the fighters.
