He's certainly effectively kept Joshua far away from Wilder to date, and I'd say expect him to keep Joshua away from Zhang as well. Too tough, too hard hitting.

I never asked for a AJ vs Wilder fight
      Buddy
All I want is a AJ vs Fury Fight
Ok, when Usyk beats Fury again, I have no problem AJ fighting Fury for some Commonwealth title.

Hearn hopes other guys will beat each other and retire each other so that Joshua can keep on looking like a king beating all Franklins in the world.

Fury and Usyk will likely retire each other

        Hrgovic fights Dubois

Zhang has fought Hrgovic, Joyce 2x, Parker, Wilder next

Parker just beat Wilder and Zhang

meantime...Joshua is sitting on his ass, waiting on his undeserved Usyk 3 shot.

And!? technically Wlad was a unification and Wlad was a much bigger name with a credible history in the sport but he was still out done by 400k buys...

Parker won his belt questionably but I guess it's the only champion who'd successfully defended his belt at the time AJ beat them so that's a big deal I guess...

This weekend will provide some answers to help determine what should be next, for everyone.

Is Wilder shot, or is is back? If he's shot, go strait to Anderson and collect several more million, then retire. If he smokes Zhang, he's a compelling choice for top contender, and best of his era.
Zhang bounced Hrgovic and Parker around like basketballs but got robbed. If he wins tomorrow, he ain't going anywhere yet.

Hrgovic has good backing and technically remains unbeaten; while Dubois is very experienced for his age (or any age) against top dogs.

AJ would be a lot safer, though far less compelling a figure, if opting to avoid Wilder/ Zhang and going instead for a phony, shameful plastic belt.

Except Joshua literally signed a contract to fight Wilder. It's not his fault Wilder is a can who lost to Parker.

Joshua has already fought Zhang in the amateurs, for the record. Someone hit the canvas in their fight and it wasn't Joshua.

You do realise Joshua fought Usyk, right? Twice? Apparently Usyk doesn't match up to the mighty Parker. A guy who got a gift against Ruiz, lost to Whyte and was destroyed by Joyce. And who already lost comfortably to......Joshua.

Your point is? that was 2 years ago hence "years ago" and I was mainly talking about PPV numbers before you decide to butt in which Usyk was almost 1m less then Parker vs AJ...

Regardless it's arguable both AJ and Whyte had favourable refs, AJ got a ref who constantly separated them when Parker got close, Whyte had a headbutt called a KD and got to hold on to the ropes with his arms wrapped around Parker for a good 30 seconds whilst out on his feet right in front of the ref...

And I already said Parker had a questionable win over Ruiz so that was a redundant statement.

2018 Joseph Parker was a naive boy to the seasoned warrior he is now.

Taking on Joshua and Whyte 6 years ago with no rematch clauses only to get jobbed by the dodgy home-cooked refs proves the level of naivety.

Going into a bout crook, fat and with no plan B against an in form Juggernaut no one else wanted to face and going out on his shield in spectacular fashion was one of the highlight fights of 2022. Once again backing himself with no rematch clause and making no excuses.

Now, having beat 2 of the top 10 guys in his last 2 fights, both of which Joshua was too scared to face, 2024 Parker is calling out Whyte and Joshua to avenge his losses.

Joshua though looks likely to face the prospect of facing the best of Parkers 2 recent losses after their bout this weekend rather than Parker himself. I doubt he'd back himself to do so without a rematch clause. A sure sign of insecurity and fragility.

Furthermore, he'll be hoping Zhang and Wilder are in an absolute war to add further miles on the clock because if one knocks out the other in quick time. Princess AJ will crawl back under Hearns bed and hide for another year.

                      Commendable warrior spirit...lololololololl
