Oscar loss millions on Zurdo fights, didn’t break even for most of his fights due to the millions Zurdo commanded. Golden Boy got Ramirez multiple title bouts with Bivol and Arsen during his tenure with them. He’ll be 33 next month best for Oscar to cut ties now than to continue losing money on a guy that he’s loosing money on.

Seems like a dumb mistake. Maybe because his last fight was on the same day as tszyu-bumdora?

I'm not sure he said anything negative about GBP. What am I not getting?
He's basically just a worthless paperweight to GBP. DAZN might be interested in one-fight deals with him.

Zurdo has a good shot at Jai

iron chin. Survive early. Jai fades late.

It’s Oscar’s fault for not promoting him correctly

hes a 6’3 giga chad Mexican. He should be at least as popular as some ufc fighters like rockhold with designer brand sponsorships

LOL, Oscar ain’t losing any sleep about it. Boxing is a business if Top Rank or Golden Boy can’t make you a star in the US you think Euro based promoter like Queensbury or Matchroom can? Please, Zurdo is 33 yrs old fighting in one of the least popular divisions in the sport. Other than having a belt he really doesn’t bring anything else to the table that includes fans.

He probably beats everybody at cruiserweight. Nobody is elite there.

Exactly he’s 33 yrs old and on the backend of his career. Like you said Zurdo ain’t really a fan favorite besides the belt the dude don’t bring much else. Zurdo spend most of his career w/t Top Rank and the Bobfather couldn’t make him a star and neither could Oscar that should tell you something. Mexican fans just don’t clasp to him like they do for Munguia or Pitbull for example.

Ramirez - Benavidez at cruiserweight would be great. two guys that can`t beat top dogs at 175. Benavidez will move up after he loses to Bivol.
