  • Will Caleb Plant be Champion again?

At this point in Caleb's career, he has been quite inactive.

The skills are definitely there, but since that Canelo payday, he's been really inactive and doesn't fight much at all anymore.

Do you see him being champ again at super middle??

Or, will he revert back to fighting C level competition?

not any time soon with canelo, bivol and beterbiev holding the belts in his potential divisions.

Caleb is more of a "fight this bum for a vacant belt" kind of guy

ABC will let canelo get away with murder so they wont ever strip him. Caleb's best chance is that beterbiev retires and they will let him fight some bum for the vacant belt. Or one of the ABCs strips bivols belt and same thing. Caleb isnt even big enough to get emailed the belt so he would have to fight atleast a bum for a vacant title.

Caleb is a 6 round fighter. After that his stamina and composure breaks down.

You have a very valid point and I can't argue what you explained.

          Great breakdwon man!

Yeah it seems like Plant can't beat the top threats in his (potential) division(s).

I actually had that in the back of my head.

I think Canelo did the right thing. NO ONE wants to see no Canelo vs Scully

reading the other threads, i just saw that IBF is actually stripping canelo, which i never thought were happening and this bum is their mandatory for the title:

so there is Caleb's chance, he can surely beat this william scull bum for the IBF title.

Yeah I mean, he is quite skilled. Yet the power and stamina don't favor him.

I feel Mr. Plant can't beat the elite in his division unless it's tune-up mandos or vacant title bouts against the same

I think he will. Canelo won't hold on to them belts. Eventually will move up or drop more due to mandos. And the division isn't exactly stacked Plant can still win one

Definitely possible, but there are several talented guys at 168 who are potential land mines for him. If Morrell & Benavidez don't come back to 168 hes chances are better than if they do. Mostly tho idgaf if he does or not cuz there are a lot of fun fights for him at 168. I'd love to see Morrell vs Plant or Mbilli vs Plant.
