Bivol never gets any credit. He made Canelo look ordinary and got almost no credit.

I wouldn't say he made him look ordinary but def imposed his size/reach advantage along with his great boxing skills ,yet couldn't hurt the smaller man moving up in weight...a win is a win tho.

It is mostly Arum's fault. I think Beterbiev wanted to fight Bivol after the Canelo fight, but Bivol was holding out for a rematch opportunity with Canelo and Arum/Hearn had conflicting network commitments. Beterbiev wants to fight Bivol, but he is probably done now and it will likely will never happen. Beterbiev could have made it happen sooner, sure, but I blame Arum.

Bivol is a great fighter but he's fought his whole career in the same division.

Usyk: 2 division undisputed, 2 division world titlist, 2 division lineal champion, just beat a dude 40 pounds heavier
Crawford: 2 division undisputed, 3 division world titlist, 3 division lineal champion (one of 9 in the history of men's boxing)
Inoue: 2 division undisputed, 4 division world titlist, 2 division lineal champion, over half his career opponents have been TBRB ranked current/former/future world titlists

Those three and Holyfield are the only men in the 3 or 4 belt eras to be undisputed in more than one division.

Bivol: 1 division world titlist

If Bivol beats Beterbiev he becomes a 1 division undisputed, lineal world champion. Which is awesome, and a great accomplishment. But it's still a step below what the top 3 have done.
