Taylor has definitely lost a step. It's like soon as he became undisputed he had hit his peak and since then he's just been littered with injurys and definitely hasnt looked the same. Think he should move to 147 see if there's anything there for him financially or call it a day.

Can't argue with that I would like to see him at 147 at least once I think it would be of benefit as he's nearing his mid 30's the weight cut may be affecting him quite a bit.

I think it's been affecting him for the past 4-5 years. He's a big 140lb fighter always has been has a big frame for that weight. He should of definitely moved up after the undisputed win. Because against Teo and both catteral fights granted he looked better in the second catteral fights but still he just didn't have enough. If you watched his earlier fights with postol,Baranchyk and Prograis etc his engine was so much better so he could grind out the wins but hasnt been able to do that in last couple yearsLast edited by Boxing2695; 05-30-2024, 06:55 PM.Comment

I agree absolutely, most boxers by josh's age (33) have moved up into the next weightclass he doesn't seem to be rehydrating properly or as much either and has looked very skinny in their compared to his earlier fights at 140. I rewatched his fight with ohara davies the other day he looks like a completely different fighter in that fight. No lethargy or pale look to him like as of late.

I've been following josh most of his career since his first fights on channel 5 over here in the UK it's sad to see the recent decline he was one of the most promising boxers from here for a while.Comment

I think he'll go down as one of the top fighters from the UK just from what he's achieved but he definitely made a bad decision sticking to 140 for way to long and it definitely has put a dampner on the last part of his career because if were being honest he should have last all 3 of his last 3 fights.
