The perception on this will be Haney is avoiding punchers moving forward.

Martin deserves a title fight. I had him beating Teofimo Lopez and he also beat Mikey Garcia.

Its a step back for sure. The only high profile fight he might have left is stevenson.

Lmao Sandor pretty much can't win.

Neither can Haney because its going to be a controversial fight one way or the other.

I won't if he will be under 170lbs when he enters the ring for this one

Haney has become a meme of sorts lately and the Martin fight will just add fuel to the fire for his critics.

What do you expect to happen?

Sandor is no mug. Arguably beat Teofimo. He was robbed of a clear KD in that fight.

With Haney? I expect he ends his career with a record of around 40-3. He will be remembered one day as a great A- fighter who could have beaten almost anyone if he had real power. Sandor Martin on the other hand wont likely be remembered outside hardcore fans...and that memory will be of a guy whose promotional outfit continually got trumped by bigger stars. He beat a Mikey Garcia who had no heart left and that got him in the door for a gig as a competitve loser....which pays well enough but doesnt make you a great fighter.

Which is a smart move considering what just happened there is a little bit of rebuilding to do on Devon after that, I dont think Devon is anywhere near a great fighter so you got to nurture him to keep him in the big fight sweepstakes.
