The right man won. But it was definitely closer than what the scorecards read.

Cat is not a big puncher, but he landed flush. He has good aim, but he is not that damaging. Not enough for the two year wait. It was not a much better result than before, just the right call vs a more decayed Taylor.

Good verdict…Catterall landed more cleaner, harder punches throughout the fight (including wobbling Taylor a few times) and definitely won the jabbing contest.

However, Taylor was definitely GAME and put in a spirited effort.

Thought it was a very close fight. Cateral landed the bigger, more eye catching shots but he took too many rounds off and was getting hit too much during the many rounds that he took off. He's a pretty sharp fighter but he's way too conservative and his gas tank is a bit lacking..

You thought Josh's horribly ineffective aggression overcame Catterall's effective defence and landing clean scoring punches?

I had it 8/3 with 1 even. Catterall won it clearly. You can't win rounds missing and hitting gloves all night whilst getting pinged pretty much every round with a load of good clean shots. Seriously, what are people watching.

Hilarious hearing the most corrupt scumbag in Bob Arum where everyone gets ripped off at TopRank even when they dominate. None stop too. No one does robberies like the Penguin. No one.

Taylor was never a P4P guy even at his best. The question now is whether Catterall presses for his IBF mandatory with Matias. So glad I put Catterall by decision in my DraftKings parlay.

Correctamundo. Nearly everything Josh threw was ineffective. He was missing with most of what he threw. He had a few good rounds and nothing more. Catterall pinged him.

I scored it 115-113 to Caterall.

Taylor forced the pace all night but most of the time he ran into traps. Jack is a very competent defensive boxer and could give shoulder roll lessons to Ryan.

By bossed, do you mean having horribly ineffective aggression where you miss most of what you throw by it either being slipped or taking it on the gloves?

Catterall clear winner here. Taylor win 3 rounds with 1 even. The rest to Catterall. Maybe go back and watch the rounds you thought Taylor won and count the amount of shots he actually lands. Don't tune into energy. Energy isn't in the scoring criteria.
