McNaughton-Santoro coming up. Don’t know anything about either guy, but looked at their boxrec’s. Pretty similar. They fought 1 week apart back in 2021, and McNaughton has fought twice since and Santoro hasn’t fought at all.

Alexander down & badly hurt . Fight over . Seems to say it was behind the head, but looked like a good punch.

            Hang them up…..

No good angle of the shot or any replay? Maybe it was behind the head, but Alexander was badly hurt regardless

Boxing is a brutal sport. Devon was a top 2 guy at his weight at one point. Hope he calls it a career soon.

From August 2009 to December 2013 he beat Junior Witter, Juan Urango, Andreas Kotelnik, Lucas Matthysse, Marcos Maidana, Randall Bailey, and Lee Purdy while only losing to Tim Bradley (TD 10 on a cut) and Shawn Porter (UD 12). Won the WBC/IBF 140 titles and the IBF 147.

Unfortunately since then he's 2-7-1 and has been stopped 3 times. It wasn't so bad losing to Amir Khan or old man Andre Berto, or getting a draw with Victor Ortiz. But he lost to Ivan Redkach, Gabriel Maestre, Aaron Martinez, Lucas Santamaria, and that kid tonight as well while only beating Jesus Soto Karass and Walter Castillo. Names far beneath a fighter of his caliber. Sad to see him go out like this.
