It's no secret that ryan garcia's fanbase is one of the dumbest, most moronic fanbase because it is full of teens that don't follow the sport and take ryan's words at face value. Any sane boxing fan who knows that sport WON'T let ryan insult their intelligence like that. The other people who still defend ryan may not be his fans but are just haney haters, which is also a bad look as they sound dumb as hell tying to go against proven facts.
Boxing has been ruined by Ryan Garcia and boxing fans in general

Lol, Floyd did more irreversible damage to this sport than any fighter in history. Cherry picking, pretending to clean up boxing while using illegal IV to mask PED use, trash talking, marinating fights until his opponent is battle worn or past prime, insisting his opponents are C-rate fighters from one side of his mouth while wanting full credit for defeating so-called C-level fighters. He did everything he could to protect his “0” in the loss column and then hinges his “greatness” on being undefeated. All without fighting an elite level fighter at their best.

Ryan Garcia, contrary to what his fan girls believe, isn't that important in modern day boxing that what he does or doesn't or pop or doesn't pop won't really change or affect boxing as a sport in anyway.
That being said, the insane emphasis on being "undefeated" and the holy myth of the golden zero definitely has diminished the chance to get the best matches possible. The fact that there are multiple champions on the same division for years that are all undefeated tells you how much people care to inflate the zero by fighting mediocre opponents over the other undefeated champion.
I mean, imagine if football teams only chose to play teams of their choices in their divisions, and when uhe regular season is over and you got multiple undefeated division champions and then NBA doesn't have the playoffs or the Super Bowl.Comment
