I don't care what leatherface says, just because you've known Ryan since he was a kid and you never saw him do anything of the sort doesn't mean he never did it. Ryan is a good actor. I'm sure he's capable of making the right person think he's an angel while being a different person to someone else.
Also, Goosen knows the backlash he’ll get with saying something like this. He’s not going to tarnish his own name intentionally, for something he doesn’t believe.
Of course the story COULD be totally different. Garcia was a perfect kid with Goosen, they split, Garcia turns into something entirely different in his own world or with his new team, whatever. Of course it’s possible! But I just believe Goosen wouldn’t discredit his own name just for the hell of it, and I also believe he’s serious about his opinion on this. Fact is he could still be wrong of course. Not his fault.

A boxer is always supposed to be in charge of what he puts in his body. There no, "Here drink this milkshake" BS. A boxer can't just drink what someone else tells them to without knowing what's in it. So yea Ryan had juice in his blood when he was putting all them knots on Devin's head. He's fully responsible for whatever was in his body that night. Drug tests don't lie. There's no scandal, Ryan was full of chemicals that were designed to help him do exactly what he did to Devin-- swing faster, harder, more often. He blew Devin's cheeks up (no Diddy) to look like a puffer fish. Ryan should be suspended for like 3 or 4 years and charged with a crime, attempted murder, and he should be sued by Devin. This isn't funny at all. What if Devin died while Ryan was full of juice? Just to get a win bruh? Get tf out of this sport we all love so much. There's no place for juicing in boxing. If you get caught, u should be banned for a longer time than 2 years, more like 4 years. Start taking their prime years away from their ass, then they'll stop. 4 years is a nice chunk to lose away from the ring. Let them try to make a comeback after 4 years when they're broke and their reflexes faded so they can get their asses knocked out cold. Thats what a cheater deserves in my opinionLast edited by archiemoore1; 05-23-2024, 08:11 AM.CPNUTKnockoutFreshMart likes this.

As an up and coming young boxer who is serious about his craft, I would never go to Joe Goossen.
If he is heaping so much praise on the abilities of someone who is so fundamentally flawed, you know you are never going to improve technically with him...

Cool. But as fans, we don’t know **** about these people. Sure, Ryan could be an angel when he was in the presence of Goosen, and then run and live a double life so to speak after training. But if you’re with a fighter consistently, and you’ve been around countless fighters, I’m certain you can get a vibe of the character of these guys. NOT the character they portray in the media, but the real person.

Ryan Garcia tested positive multiple times for banned substances. Nothing Goosen says will change that. I don't care if Ryan was the ring boy at Joe's wedding. He's still a lying, cheating scumbag.

Haters already discrediting Joe Gooseneck who’s in boxing all his life
Wtf would he say this chit and loose all credibility on a scene which is not easy to make a name for yourself but the haters won’t understand cause half of them have never been in a ring or even hung out with the so and so’s of boxing
I personally think Ryan is one nugget short of a six pack but when a guy like Goosen speaks , I listen
Then again he can be totally wrong and gotten duped but chances are there imo that Ryan Garcia was set up because of all his chit talking which ruffled quite a few feathers
People still believe that he was drinking beer on stage or that he was doing coke etc etc
Ryan just staying relevant by talking chit and people are so fughin gullible that they eat that chit up like nothing
lmfao
