Aj’s current lane is in the losers bracket with Wilder and now Fury. Usyk has established clear dominance as the top heavyweight of this generation and everyone else is merely fighting for silver and bronze. Aj vs Wilder would still do good numbers (should wilder win his next fight) and AJ vs Fury is a British fans wet dream, but unfortunately that will now only be for domestic level bragging rights and nothing more. Sort of like Khan vs Brook was.

And then when he gets beat again and after two comebacks, we’ll “look back at him and recognize that he improved from his losses”?
I mean, Wilder will do the same and so will Fury. We’ll see improved versions of them soon too, won’t we?

Personally I was a big fan up to and including first Wilder fight. But as soon as he went back to fighting bums straight after - that was the last straw for me. How can you support a guy who talks like he is the best fighter ever but then never gives the fans what they want? It was embarrassing how long he ran away from Usyk for.
As for AJ - Fury turned down a fight with him after first Wilder fight and even "signed" for an AJ fight while still contracted to fight Wilder for a 3rd time. Given Fury has only ever defended his titles 4 times and is FIVE years ahead of AJ in his career - it's pretty obvious who is ducking who...

It's too early to say he is better. Wallin was no.11 when AJ fought him and Ngannou was a MMA guy. He wasn't fighting Uysk. I thought Aj fought great against Uysk tbh. Usyk was just better and AJ's chin is not good enough to bulldozer him. Not sure what people expected from AJ??Last edited by Roberto Vasquez; 05-22-2024, 12:58 PM.

It's the usual expected spin from Hearn, trying to fill the obvious void between Fury and Joshua .Fury and Usyk fought a razor thin verdict that could have gone to either. Joshua was hammered in the first contest with Uysk and only did slightly better in the second.
'Joshua's ready to fight anyone' , ....I have waited , like everyone soooo long to hear this ...I just hope it's true and now that his head is back on and he's gelling with Ben , it may be the case. The moneys there and they are all near their career ends.

He subsequently threatened to sue the BBC if he was put up for further SPOTY awards and that was that.
The rest of what you’ve written is similar nonsense - everyone knows Wilder was on record saying that he turned down more money to face AJ in his choice to fight Fury, while an AJ vs Fury fight was signed and sealed for August 2021 before it got derailed by Wilder’s arbitration to force a trilogy fight:
