Exactly! Usyk wasn't even at his best yesterday. He was somewhat slow. A more mobile Usyk would have completely drained Fury before the 10th round.Well the uppercut's risky, you've got to be **** on with it - which Fury was several times and those were some of his best moments - but Usyk is very smart in there, he's not going to keep walking into the same shot without making adjustments. He's also hard to time because he's constantly feinting and threatening with his in-and-out movement, like Lomachenko.
I felt Usyk's biggest mistake in rounds 4-7 was that he abandoned finesse somewhat and fell into a rut of just marching Fury down. He was too eager to stay on him and Fury started taking advantage by lining up some good shots and timing him coming in. Imo Usyk's much better when he's bouncing in and out, drawing the lead, mixing it up and forcing Fury to think.Comment
