Joshua NEVER looked like the favourite in either fight, he never dominated any round even the 8th int he rematch where he missed most of his shots.
Fury was well on top for a couple of rounds. Really that was it. He was very good for the first 4 very close rounds, though I only had him taking two of those. Overall he performed very well for half the fight in a very high standard event.

Beyond that though it was the Usyk show. He took over just as he did against Joshua, except earlier and in more devastating fashion.

It's easy to forget that Joshua was competitive for most of those 2 fights and they were both of a very high technical standard. In the second fight he was ahead on two cards going into the 10th and behind by 1 on the other. Whether you'd score it exactly like that or not - it's hard to deny that fight was in the balance before Usyk bounced back from the 9th and turned things up a few notches.

There was no demolition against Joshua, just two excellent wins.

I'd back Joshua to be very competitive if they fight again. I'm not convinced that Fury can avoid getting stunned by a guy of Usyk's ability. He was hit with hard left hands throughout - even in those early rounds. At the time it was easy to dismiss the damage being done because Fury takes a great shot and Usyk tends not to load up but when you watch it back he was hurting Fury.

I had Fury winning rounds 2-7. Did everyone else have that??

I have a feeling Fury wins if he gets rid of the skirt. Every time a fighter wears skirt, he loses.

I thought Fury had it in Round 8 too, he looked way more active and was landing clean shots. But Usyk’s comeback was wild, especially in Round 9. For anyone tracking odds mid-fight like that, I usually check trang ca do bong da during live events to see how things shift—interesting seeing how fast the numbers flipped after that round.

For Fury vs Usyk 2, it feels like either could take it depending on how they handle those big moments. Kinda like using gi8, the popular lottery app in Vietnam—sometimes it’s all about timing and a bit of luck. Both fighters have the skills, so it’s gonna be a close one, probably comes down to who stays sharp when it matters most.

              - - Usyk already blasted Blubber twice. Poor Blubber had to retire tail between his legs in disgrace...

this is what happens when you misinterpret what is happening in a fight. fury dominating never happened and is largely made up. i heard the comments before watching the fight so i expected to see usyk reeling around the ring about to be kod from the way people were describing fury's dominance, but when i watched the footage of the fight i couldnt find that anywhere. is it possible Ukraine edited out that part?

in rounds 4-6 fury landed some nice body shots and an uppercut that very briefly stunned usyk. fury definitely had momentum, but then he didnt when usyk started hitting him with hard counters in round 7 and won that round on my card, close for sure but in a close round i give it to the guy who landed the best punch or punches and that was usyk not fury.

there is a difference between fading in a fight and taking punishment. usyk was takign some punishment but he wasnt fading. he was still executing his game plan which was to pressure fury, wear him down, and not let him get leverage on his punches. this paid dividends when fury couldnt keep up that pace, got sloppy and got hit with big punches in return for his aggression .

usyk never strayed from his gameplan. meanwhile in rounds 7-8 fury clearly was fading and failing to execute his gameplan or should i say his plan b gameplan since plan a was to outbox usyk from distance but he tried that and dropped the first 3 rounds(dont know how you see fury winning any since he did almost nothing and usyk landed the much cleaner punches), thats why in round 4 he upped his aggression and actually got leverage and got usyks respect.he probably would have went on to win if usyk had went into retreate mode, but he didnt. usyk knew furys aggression wouldnt last and his aggresion would provide counter opportunities. at the end of round 7/round 8 fury went back to back foot mode which allowed usyk to get leverage on his punches and put a hurt on him. fury basically fought the entire 2nd usyk fight in this mode which is why he clearly lost and only won 3 rounds. he didnt go for it like the first fight
