  • Is Usyk P4P #1 now?

He just beat a man nearly 3 stone heavier than him to unify a second division.

I honestly think he has to be. What a fighter.

Without a doubt. What argument could there even be?

Best resume as far as names beaten: Inoue (14-0 vs TBRB ranked former/future/current world titlists)
        Most lineal championships: Crawford, 3
        Best individual win: Usyk (Fury)

These are the only three guys even in the conversation.

I think Inoue is in the conversation too but I’d go:
          1. Usyk
          2. Crawford
          3. Inoue

Yes, he could be. But as the small guys are champs in more divisions you give it to smaller men I suppose

              he is without question.

his competition has been much tougher than crawford, and i say this as someone who is a much bigger fan of the welterweight division and the lower weights in general

yeah, doing what he is doing at HW is something else. he should remain number 1 until either he loses or retires.

Another factor is where Usyk beat these guys. Inoue and Crawford largely fought in the home corner.

Usyk beat Breidis in Latvia, Glowacki in Poland, Gassiev in Russia, Huck in Germany, Hunter in the USA, Joshua, Bellew and Chisora in the UK.

Even his two wins in Saudi, he was essentially the away fighter, it was his opponents promoter who was lead promoter.

I have to say so. The size difference between him and Fury in the ring was almost comical. It looked like he was little mac fighting against king hippo in punchout.
