  • Final thoughts Usyk v Fury. My verdict!

I have over 50+ notifications and obviously I can’t respond to all of them, so I will make this thread to summarize my thoughts and give my final statement.

im 27 years old, I have been watching boxing since I was 14. I’ve been to numerous live events and I bet if I said my name and how I look, some of you would recognize me!

robberies happen in boxing all the time, I witnessed the Ward/Kovalev 1 fight in person and I saw Kovalev get robbed in person. I saw Tim Bradley rob Pac-Man. Im going to continue to watch boxing and go to live events, despite its numerous flaws.

However, today was a massive disgrace. Outside of the knockdown, I had fury winning this fight. Usyk lost, nothing will change my mind. Similar to how Wilder lost to Fury in there first fight, but a knockdown in round 12 somehow gave Wilder a draw. Unfortunately, that’s boxing for you. Just like life it’s full of bull****.

With the situation in Ukraine and an American judge scoring, this makes sense. I am American and this country is essentially at this point a Ukrainian satellite state. Disgraceful day in boxing, but I will hold my head up high and still say Fury won, regardless of the fake outcome.

I will answer any serious questions in this thread, I can’t reply to the notifications l, thank you all!

You may be in the denial stage of grief but we are all here to support you. And Ukraine.

Cong**** to Usyk for beating a giant peanut in the world's highest shorts.

        7-5 Usyk 115-112

A few swing rounds so you cant argue it was "disgrace"

You think Fury won, but in no logical form can you insinuate robbery, or disgrace.

I think the mistake Fury made was thinking he'd won more of the early rounds than he actually had, when he watches the tape back he will realise. The pumches landed in the early rounds were very even but Usyk landed an eye catching punch in all of the first 3 and gave the perception he was in control as he was moving forward and not taking much back.

        That was one critical point.

He also got sloppy in 7 and 8 due to fatigue. This was likely when his body was transitioning to fat burning and he was having an energy low, before the left hand that Usyk landed that caused all the issues, he had whistled a couple just past Fury's chin and he avoided them more out of luck then design, you could visibly see the fatigue and eventually he got caught big. You have to credit Usyk for causing the fatigue and exploiting it, you could argue Fury could have done a better job defensively in this phase of the fight, as he would have got his second wind at the start of round 9.

These were the critical points of the fight and why Fury lost on my card.
