Better do it now while Tank is still speedy. To get Shakur a fighter has to be tricky, speedy, etc. or he will pick them apart.

In a perfect world, we’d have had Shakur v Loma last week. Then have Tank v Martin. Then have the winners and losers fight on the same card.
The winner of that then fights Navarette should he have the WBO belt.
Shakur is leaving TR so lets hope the Tank v Stevenson fight gets made since we don’t look to be getting Shakur v Loma.

Apparently it's gone, and is being blamed on the WBA. WBA is a stain on the sport, but ... Pathetic either way.
Shakira "no smoke" Tweeterson won't sign the contract anyways even if Tank's team sends it "because of the split" just as he did against Haney. Forever lost my respect for that. I can forgive him for being boring, but run your mouth and then turn down an offer to fight for undisputed? That's worse than Munguía turning down title shots. Worse than Tank, who at least is honest that he doesn't GAF and is fine milking secondary titles.Boricua181 likes this.

Due to the fact that Tank has fought, and knocked out few good champions, that were undefeated at the time; Jose Pedraza, Leo Santa Cruz, and Mario Barrios.

Wow! That was as brutally honest as one can be, without the use of profanity. I agree with you 100% crimsonfalcon about Stevenson, and 50 % about Tank.
Due to the fact that Tank has fought, and knocked out few good champions, that were undefeated at the time; Jose Pedraza, Leo Santa Cruz, and Mario Barrios.
Santa Cruz was not undefeated, having already lost to Carl Frampton, defending against a larger guy who was 2 divisions up in his next fight. And that title was the vacant one Davis previously had, won against Miguel Flores, so he didn't successfully defend it ever. You tell me how big a deal a vacant title with no defenses is. His real title was down at 126. So you've got a guy whose best work was at 126 fighting at 130 to defend a vacant belt vs a guy who fought next at 140. Pretty similar to coming up 3 divisions, and we've seen how that goes.
And frankly, it says everything about Davis that he chose to fight Barrios rather than Josh Taylor, who was undisputed at 140 at the time. Barrios isn't a real world champion and never has been. He might get an email belt, but that WBA regular nonsense, especially when there's a real champ in the division, isn't a real world title. It's just a WBA money grab. I've gone into detail on that stain before, so I'm not going into it again here. And Davis put a rehydration clause on Barrios to boot. Barrios was #7 Ring at the time as well. Cherry pick for a fake belt.
I think Davis is the real deal in terms of skills and power, but he has been content his whole career to stay with smoke and mirrors.
