I mean, he'll never be Ali and he'll never have Holyfield's resume and he's nearly 39, so he's not adding any new layers to his game or getting any better at this point, but to say he's never been a threat is just idiotic.
He's got a longstanding hatred for Wilder. Not terribly skilled, perhaps, but it never held him back. Guess he's got the great equalizer. That's a threat.

Usyk has a genuinely unperturbable mindset, a total laser focus. Maybe Fury will surprise me, but I'm leaning toward a Usyk victory.

Someone tell John that you're not supposed to headbutt someone on the forehead. Aim for the nose, you pathetic old man!

'Stepchuk' didn't even flinch with that lousy ass headbutt from Popa Gypsy, those Ukrainians are tough SOB no doubt. All this is just extra motivation for Usyk. I think he might pull it off on Saturday. Its going to be a good one.

Deontay Wilder floored Fury 4 times, arguably KOd him once, and held him to a draw.

I'm eager to see if Usyk can duplicate that.
              Or...better it.
              Stay tuned.
With all due respect, this post doesn’t make any sense. You can dress up Wilder’s performance against Fury all you like, but the fact is he was lucky to escape with a draw in the first fight, got dominated in the second and ended face-first on the canvas in the third. Wilder doesn’t get to climb through the hypothetical rankings for knocking Fury down, something three other fighters have done, including Ngannou with zero professional boxing fights.

By beating AJ twice, followed by knocking out Dubois, all while being significantly undersized, Usyk has achieved far more than Wilder has in 40+ victories against mediocre opposition. Usyk and AJ are clear of Wilder, and I’d argue Parker is too, given how he completely washed Wilder, and owns victories over Ruiz and Zhang, who are arguably both better than anyone Wilder has ever beaten.

I believe there is a premontion in Papa Fury's antics for how Fury intends to fight Usyk, and its how Lennox Lewis fought Vitali when he was getting clowned.

Charging in with a headbutt in the 4th round to open a cut and force a medical stoppage for the win.

Wilder has always been a pathetic bum beater. His best win is 40 old Ortiz. And he was almost knocked out in that fight lol.

I disagree. The "Wilder's mediocre opposition" claim is refuted. It's a myth. Parker got beat up and starched against Joyce, and benefitted from questionable decisions against Ruiz and Zhang, who starched Joyce twice. Where are Parker's 10 successful title defenses.

Usyk may better Wilder's collective performance against the Champion on Saturday, or not.
All boats will rise or ebb depending on who wins.
